Despite this (and this might only be anecdotal evidence anyway), the chance at free items with a floor set at B tier is really strong and often too good to ignore. I'll often clear entire sections of Bullet Hell before I get drops if I've used it a lot. I cant really confirm this one way or another but I will almost always get an item the first or second use, and every item drop seems to extend the average number of uses required to get another one. It seems to me that the more items you get from it, the less items you'll get on later uses. as a Robot player I enjoy the benefits of not killing myself with repeated uses due to the self damage effect which is nice (despite missing out on stuff normal Gungeoneers have access to, Robot has a lot of advantages the others cant compete with tbh, especially on high curse). It's hard for me to make a lot of use of this item since I always play Shrine runs, but all of my most broken runs absolutely involved the use of this ridiculous box.

It'll even work if the item the ring swap is the same item. Ring of the resourceful rat can be used to swap items dropped by lament, removing the curse. So if it drops you an orange you'll only get 1 curse from holding it in your inventory. The curse from items dropped by lament is tied to the item itself. Pacman is particularly good for this since it charges fast and can also be used to eliminate enemies dropped by lament. Invincibility also stop lament from dealing damage, letting you play in relative safety. It tempts you with the promise of rewards, but play carefully or you could end up in far more trouble than its worth.Īrmor blocks any single hit of lament, no matter how much health it's supposed to take off, so stacking armor lets you play more. The greatest enemy of lament configurum is yourself. I love the gamble and will play it whenever I can. This item can quite literally kill you by summoning terrible mobs, dropping you garbage and taking your health with it, or it can carry you as hard as the clover by dropping you all kinds of top tier items, like clone or gunther.
